Gorka: Trump Phenomenon a ‘Direct Response’ to Obama’s ‘Divisive Presidency’
‘He really doesn’t understand why Americans are so very, very concerned’
GORKA: “The Trump phenomenon is a direct response to [Obama’s] divisive presidency. The idea that you make commonsense suggestions, such that we don’t want a influx of migrants from active war-zones where Jihad is occurring right now — that's -- that's bad? That's a negative form of populism. I think you're right. I think the president is so thin-skinned that he is taking the common sense approach that is working so well for Mr. Trump and he is taking it personally, and he doesn't -- he really doesn’t understand why Americans are so very, very concerned. After San Bernardino, after Orlando, he still doesn't understand that the average American is -- is really afraid. And -- and they have every right to be.”
