Susan Rice: No Regrets about Post-Benghazi Appearances (National Review Online)
In her first Sunday show appearance since the September 2012 Benghazi attacks, National Security Advisor Susan Rice sat down with Meet the Press host David Gregory and called claims that she misled the American people about the nature of the attacks “patently false.”
“What I said to you that morning and what I did every day since was to share the best information that we had at the time,” she said. “The information I provided, which I explained to you was what we had at the moment, it could change.”
Ultimately, the explanation she provided “turned out, in some respects, not to be 100% correct,” Rice continued, and had no regrets about her appearances.
