HUCKABEE: "We didn't start World War II. Pearl Harbor was not our doing. I think the great reminder of what President Truman said, 'It ended World War II. It did not just save countless thousands of American lives. It saved countless thousands of the lives of Japanese people as well.' It was a horrible thing. But we don't need to apologize for it. Japan needs to apologize for putting us in the position where we had to make drastic action to save as many people as we could."
