Watch Largest-Ever Team USA Enter Olympic Stadium

‘Two-hundred-thirty athletes, the largest U.S. winter team ever assembled’

LAUER: "It's the first time U.S. athletes will march in an opening ceremony on Russian soil. The last time, as David pointed out, we boycotted the games in Moscow. Let's listen. There is the marchers' eye view of entering the Olympic stadium. Team USA in Sochi! The flag bearer is Todd Lodwick, of nordic combined, his sixth Olympic games. I spoke to him yesterday morning. He said he wanted everybody at home to know that their support has meant the world to him. He has an 8-year-old, a 5-year-old. They're watching from Colorado. Imagine how proud they are of their dad rights now."
VIEIRA: "A nice reception, I think from the audience here. 230 athletes. the largest U.S. winter team ever assembled. Vancouver by the way, went about as well as possible for the Americans. They top the overall standings with the winter games record 37 medals."
