Now, this may be a parenthesis, and you know, all the caveats are in order here. Mike Johnson is -- was down to Mar-a-Lago kissing the ring. These Republicans have all fallen into line behind Donald Trump, they will continue to do so. But at least for today, we have a glimmer of what a Congress that is willing to be functional, a Congress that is willing to do the right thing, to step up at a key moment. And I have to say that I was completely surprised by Mike Johnson's reversal on this, and -- and his -- his almost Churchillian declaration that -- that this was the moment when -- when we needed to step up and -- and defend the world against Vladimir Putin.”
