Pence: It Is in Our National Interest to Give Ukraine What They Need to Fight

‘If Vladimir Putin overruns Ukraine, won’t be long before he crosses the border that are men and women have to fight’

EXCERPT:

PENCE: "Well, as you know, I'm someone that believe that America is the leader of the free world, we are the arsenal of democracy, and I’ve been a strong supporter of military aid to the war fighters in Ukraine. I think it is absolutely in our national interest to give Ukraine what they need to fight and repel the Russians, because I have no doubt that if Putin overruns Ukraine, it won’t be long before he crosses a border where our men and women in uniform have to fight. So whether he should have paired them but to make the case that we are the leader of the free world, we ought to be supporting Israel shoulder-to-shoulder, no daylight between the U.S. and Israel. But I really do believe this is the moment, in the wake of that failed and feckless foreign policy of this administration, the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, appeasement toward Iran and other actors in the world stage, we’ve got to get back to leading the free world or, frankly, the rest of the 21st century could look a lot more like the first half of the 20th century."
