JEFFRIES: "Yeah, I have raised this issue with my Republican colleagues and counterparts and it is very critical that we provide the Ukrainian people with the support necessary for them to continue their courageous battle against Russia. And here is the question that will be before the Congress. Are we going to choose America’s national security interests on the one hand or side with the pro-Putin caucus in the Republican conference that internally is led by Marjorie Taylor Greene and externally is led by Donald Trump and Tucker Carlson? That undermines America’s national security interests and that’s why it was so unfortunate that, at the insistence of House Republicans, we punted on the Ukrainian issue. We need to get to that not as a matter of weeks, but as a matter of days because it is the right thing to do for America, but also for democracy and for freedom and truth and the Western world."
