MSNBC’s Dr. Vin Gupta Says Everyone Older than ‘6 Months’ Needs a Covid Booster Shot

GUPTA: "So, all of us need boosters, so at 6 months of age and up. We’ll have boosters by the end of this month, hopefully. Those will protect, we believe, very strongly against these new versions of the virus. The virus will continue to change. Covid and flu shots can be had at the same exact time. If you’re over 60 or otherwise medically high risk, as we talked about, you can get that RSV vaccine, the new vaccine, now. So get that now if you’re over 60 or medically high risk. At the end of the month, into early October, you can get the Covid booster and the flu shot — not yet available, it will be updated for the current versions that are existing and circulating in our environment by the end of the month, early October. So, RSV vaccine now for those who are higher risk, over 60. Covid, flu shots, at the same time, end of the month."
