He could be considered a trusted messenger and he is putting out inaccurate information. What we do know is that the immunity that you get from natural infection is not as strong or robust as the immunity that you receive from vaccines. Additionally, we also know that the immunity induced by vaccines covers the variants and that’s also a concern. So people who have had previous Covid infection can potentially get re-infected with variants. So, it's incredibly dangerous, especially as a physician, that he is giving out this information, which is pushing us more to wanting to get out accurate, responsible messaging about the vaccine. People need to understand that natural immunity is not sufficient to prevent reinfection."
