Kamala Harris: Global Warming Poses ‘Existential Threat to Who We Are as a Species’

‘I will tell you that when elected president of the United States, I will immediately make sure that we are back in the Paris agreement’

EXCERPT:

HARRIS: “Well, I will tell you that when elected president of the United States, I will immediately make sure that we are back in the Paris agreement. Climate change -- and I think we should think of it and talk of it as the climate crisis -- represents an existential threat to who we are as a species. And the fact we have supposed leaders who are pushing science fiction instead of science fact is to our collective peril. And you know leaders need to lead on this issue. And we're not -- we're seeing a failure of leadership, frankly.”
