Fox News’ Hemmer and Marie Harf Clash Over Trump’s Iran Threat: People Don’t Want Their Kids ‘Going to War’ (Mediaite)

A Fox News panel got heated on Monday as anchor Bill Hemmerbattled with contributor Marie Harf over President Donald Trump‘s explosive all-caps tweet threatening Iran.

Fox News host Sandra Smith noticed that Marie Harf, a former Obama State Department spokeswoman, had a visible reaction as she read out Trump’s tweet.

“What’s the president going to do?” Harf replied. “It’s really easy at midnight to put caps lock on your computer or your iPhone and tweet tough words, but what does that mean?”

“Well he’s obviously sending a message,” Smith said.

“But what message — he’s going to attack Iran??” Harf asked.
