CNN’s Borger: Trump Has Always Believed that Russia Probe ‘Is a Product of the Deep State’

BORGER: "Because I think, you know, Donald Trump has always believed that this entire Russia investigation is a product of the deep state. And by the deep state, he means people who are out to get him from previous years, whether they’re in the government, formerly the Obama Administration or other Democrats. And I think what’s going to be interesting for us to look at today, Brooke, is when the President meets with Rosenstein and Wray, whether he accepts what Rosenstein has done, which is essentially try to thread the needle here and say to the President, 'You know what, I’m going to have the Inspector General look into your complaint.' And that’s the way he’s decided to handle it."
