Sununu on Kerry Trying to Save Iran Deal: He ‘Always Has Done More Harm than Good’

‘It’s just consistent with the way he has operated over the last few years when he was in power’

EXCERPT:

BANDERAS: "Now Kerry is holding these meetings almost it seems behind the president’s back and he's meeting with those who agree with him. So he is not necessarily trying to work on bettering the deal, which is what the president wants starting with perhaps reinstating sanctions, and the president has made it clear if this deal does not improve he will back out of it. So is John Kerry, in fact, doing more harm than good?"
SUNUNU: "Well, Kerry always has done more harm than good. So it’s just consistent with the way he has operated over the last few years when he was in power and now that he is out of power. The worst thing about all of this is that even if the president decides not to support the Iranian deal on the 12th of May, the worst part of it is Iranians were given $150 billion which they’re using to fund the expansion of terrorism in the most critical part of the world."
BANDERAS: "Like Syria."
SUNUNU: "Senator Kerry should understand that -- that ironically people are beginning to talk about what he is doing with the Iranian foreign minister and foreign leaders as falling under the Logan Act which the Obama administration tried to charge general Flynn with."
