Sununu: We’ve Had ‘Kick the Can Down the Road Foreign Policy’ on N. Korea for the Last 8 Years
EXCERPT:
SHAWN: "U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley yesterday referred to that she said that North Korea basically has been 25 years of botched agreements, she says. And she pointed that as an example of what we should do with Iran."
SUNUNU: "Well look, what we’ve had with North Korea is kick the can down the road foreign policy for the last eight years, started by Mrs. Clinton when she was secretary of state. President Obama did not want to handle the tough thing. In fact, kick the can down the road was the policy on Iran. That’s what this -- the deal with Iran is in essence kick the can down the road and let the world worry about it in 15 years when Iran is allowed to have nuclear weapons. What we have now is an administration that is saying these are hot issues, these are tough issues, we inherited them and we’re going to try and deal with them."
