Fred Fleitz: This Is a ‘Hopeless Situation’ with North Korea

FLEITZ: "I think he was speaking to both. On North Korea, this really is a hopeless situation. The president inherited a real mess. But you know what, I think he’s making the best of it... In March, an order was issued with this administration, to everybody in government, when you deal with foreigners, bring up North Korea, tell them to cut off ties. There are actually instances where our diplomats went to foreigners and said cut off these ties to North Korea. They said that they didn't have any and we said, yes we do and pointed them out. Why didn't Obama do this? It’s another sign of the incompetence of the last administration."
