‘There’s Stuff Circulating on the Internet!’ GOP Rep. Hints at Seth Rich Conspiracy During CNN Segment (Mediaite)

Well, it looks like the Seth Rich murder conspiracy theory is now making its way into the talking points of GOP lawmakers.

During an interview on CNN this morning, Rep. Blake Farenthold (R-TX) hinted at the debunked story while talking about potential Trump/Russia collusion. Telling anchors John Berman and Poppy Harlow that all the “constant focusing on the Russians” is preventing other stuff from being investigated, he then touched on the theories surrounding Rich’s murder.

“There’s still some question as to whether the intrusion of the DNC server was an insider job or whether or not it was the Russians,” he stated.
