Jack Keane: Under Obama, North Korea and China Knew the Military Option Was Not on the Table

KEANE: "I think the problem we have with the previous administration is, despite the rhetoric of strategic patience, the North Koreans and the Chinese and the South Koreans and Japanese all knew that the military option was not on the table. That allowed the North Korea to advance and we never pushed back. The most significant acceleration of North Korea's missile development and nuclear development occurred under the Obama Administration despite the two previous presidents were dealing with the same thing. So here we are today. President Trump has put the military option back on the table. He is certainly pressuring North Korea. They actually believe, I’m convinced, that it’s a real option and a possibility."
