Biography

Adam Goldman covers terrorism and national security for The Washington Post. Before joining the paper in December 2013, Goldman was on The Associated Press investigative team in Washington, D.C., where he also focused on national security. Previously, he worked in New York and Las Vegas for the AP and newspapers in Virginia and Alabama. Goldman is the recipient of several journalism awards, including the 2012 Pulitzer Prize for Investigative Reporting, the Goldsmith Prize for Investigative Reporting and a George Polk Award. He is the co-author of “Enemies Within: Inside the NYPD’s Secret Spying Unit and bin Laden’s Final Plot Against America.” He lives in Washington, D.C. with his wife and two children. He is very approachable.
