Swalwell: ‘Fundamentally Un-American’ that Trump ‘So Eagerly Embraced’ Russia

░░░░░░░░ nothing to do with ░░░░░░░░ president at all do ░░░░░░░░ believe that it does ░░░░░░░░ you know how this ░░░░░░░░ in to the larger ░░░░░░░░ Well it certainly has ░░░░░░░░ the markings of something ░░░░░░░░ president would be involved ░░░░░░░░ so you see here ░░░░░░░░ intense interest by the ░░░░░░░░ campaign and the president ░░░░░░░░ decades long friend to ░░░░░░░░ the Russian hacked goods ░░░░░░░░ would help Donald Trump ░░░░░░░░ so Rachel what we ░░░░░░░░ to know next it ░░░░░░░░ a follow the shovels ░░░░░░░░ I think W wt ░░░░░░░░ laid out earlier which ░░░░░░░░ why would they ░░░░░░░░ it was laid out ░░░░░░░░ the indictment that Roger ░░░░░░░░ lied to your committee ░░░░░░░░ his testimony and had ░░░░░░░░ been a subpoena of ░░░░░░░░ communications that followed or ░░░░░░░░ that testimony the committee ░░░░░░░░ have known that he ░░░░░░░░ lying One of the ░░░░░░░░ that you and your ░░░░░░░░ Democrats laid out in ░░░░░░░░ yr sort of interim ░░░░░░░░ on the investigation was ░░░░░░░░ there was no interest ░░░░░░░░ Republicans on the committee ░░░░░░░░ subpoenaing documents in doing ░░░░░░░░ to check the testimony ░░░░░░░░ witnesses who appeared to ░░░░░░░░ lying to documents that would have ░░░░░░░░ this much earlier You ░░░░░░░░ people inside Washington they ░░░░░░░░ well no one outside ░░░░░░░░ really cares about the ░░░░░░░░ story Sure it s ░░░░░░░░ you know as fatal ░░░░░░░░ you know a near ░░░░░░░░ fatal as the shutdown ░░░░░░░░ we ve experienced but ░░░░░░░░ find it very fundamentally ░░░░░░░░ American that the Trump ░░░░░░░░ has so eagerly embraced ░░░░░░░░ adversary that never has ░░░░░░░░ interests in mind and ░░░░░░░░ think our country s ░░░░░░░░ to continue to suffer ░░░░░░░░ we get to the ░░░░░░░░ of it and we ░░░░░░░░ exactly what Russia did ░░░░░░░░ exactly how many Americans ░░░░░░░░ to help them MADDOW ░░░░░░░░ I m going to ░░░░░░░░ you two questions here ░░░░░░░░ of which I believe ░░░░░░░░ can answer in detail ░░░░░░░░ of the and Cohen are now ░░░░░░░░ people who have been ░░░░░░░░ with felonies for lying ░░░░░░░░ your committee both of ░░░░░░░░ charges have come from ░░░░░░░░ special counsel s office ░░░░░░░░ counsel s office obviously ░░░░░░░░ its work with tight ░░░░░░░░ and they do not ░░░░░░░░ necessarily the background work ░░░░░░░░ they did to get ░░░░░░░░ but can you tell ░░░░░░░░ in intelligence has made ░░░░░░░░ referrals Swalwell What I ░░░░░░░░ tell you is that ░░░░░░░░ are very very eager ░░░░░░░░ get all of our ░░░░░░░░ in the hands of ░░░░░░░░ Mueller special counsel team ░░░░░░░░ we saw other witnesses ░░░░░░░░ conflicting accounts or invent ░░░░░░░░ or just outright refuse ░░░░░░░░ testify and we saw ░░░░░░░░ Republicans tell them that ░░░░░░░░ they didn t want ░░░░░░░░ continue a voluntary interview ░░░░░░░░ could just walk away ░░░░░░░░ so we weren t ░░░░░░░░ to pursue our lines ░░░░░░░░ inquiry which I think ░░░░░░░░ have shined a lot ░░░░░░░░ light on who worked ░░░░░░░░ the Russians and what ░░░░░░░░ can do to protect ░░░░░░░░ future interference by the ░░░░░░░░ My last question again ░░░░░░░░ m pretty sure you ░░░░░░░░ t answer this but ░░░░░░░░ m just going to ░░░░░░░░ Has the special counsel ░░░░░░░░ office requested the transcripts ░░░░░░░░ other witnesses testimony from ░░░░░░░░ whether or not the ░░░░░░░░ has been able to ░░░░░░░░ them to Mueller as ░░░░░░░░ yet I can t ░░░░░░░░ into that Rachel but ░░░░░░░░ what I can assure ░░░░░░░░ is that right now ░░░░░░░░ see that at best ░░░░░░░░ know the Trump team ░░░░░░░░ re trying to say ░░░░░░░░ there
