SMITH Issue is dysfunction ░░░░░░░░ Yeah SMITH You know ░░░░░░░░ seems that from the ░░░░░░░░ that OBAMA From the ░░░░░░░░ too Laughter SMITH Washington ░░░░░░░░ you look at global ░░░░░░░░ for example and you ░░░░░░░░ right younger generation there ░░░░░░░░ no debate Yet they ░░░░░░░░ this fighting this gridlock ░░░░░░░░ Washington Or for other ░░░░░░░░ Just for example now ░░░░░░░░ of chicken that s ░░░░░░░░ played with the problem ░░░░░░░░ Homeland Security for example ░░░░░░░░ starts BOXER Republicans are ░░░░░░░░ politics with the critical ░░░░░░░░ with the Department of ░░░░░░░░ Security and threatening a ░░░░░░░░ CRUZ The president s ░░░░░░░░ amnesty is lawless and ░░░░░░░░ clip ends SMITH These ░░░░░░░░ things that our tax ░░░░░░░░ paid for OBAMA Right ░░░░░░░░ Yet it seems to ░░░░░░░░ a game that s ░░░░░░░░ played and young people ░░░░░░░░ dissatisfied and angry but ░░░░░░░░ don t know what ░░░░░░░░ do What would you ░░░░░░░░ them OBAMA Let me ░░░░░░░░ a couple things A ░░░░░░░░ of times from the ░░░░░░░░ and sometimes mainstream media ░░░░░░░░ this as a food ░░░░░░░░ and it s a ░░░░░░░░ of both parties just ░░░░░░░░ partisan Well that s ░░░░░░░░ not accurate On climate ░░░░░░░░ 90 percent of Democrats ░░░░░░░░ with me and 90 ░░░░░░░░ of Republicans oppose any ░░░░░░░░ on it and a ░░░░░░░░ portion of their party ░░░░░░░░ it even exists There ░░░░░░░░ been times in history ░░░░░░░░ Democrats have been unreasonable ░░░░░░░░ ve been times where ░░░░░░░░ have led the way ░░░░░░░░ right now on a ░░░░░░░░ of the issues that ░░░░░░░░ people care about it ░░░░░░░░ not both sides arguing ░░░░░░░░ creating gridlock You got ░░░░░░░░ side that is denying ░░░░░░░░ facts who are often ░░░░░░░░ principally by opposing whatever ░░░░░░░░ is that I propose ░░░░░░░░ that s not inevitable ░░░░░░░░ our democracy that s ░░░░░░░░ that s a phase ░░░░░░░░ that the Republican Party ░░░░░░░░ going through right now ░░░░░░░░ it ll outgrow that ░░░░░░░░ The thing that we ░░░░░░░░ have to worry about ░░░░░░░░ the fact that the ░░░░░░░░ of change globally is ░░░░░░░░ quick that we may ░░░░░░░░ have the luxury of ░░░░░░░░ years or ten years ░░░░░░░░ not getting a lot ░░░░░░░░ If we want to ░░░░░░░░ with not just climate ░░░░░░░░ but the potential for ░░░░░░░░ with terrorism with the ░░░░░░░░ around cyber security some ░░░░░░░░ these things are just ░░░░░░░░ One thing young people ░░░░░░░░ do immediately is vote ░░░░░░░░ the fact of the ░░░░░░░░ is that in the ░░░░░░░░ midterm election about a ░░░░░░░░ of eligible voters voted ░░░░░░░░ if you ve got ░░░░░░░░ and you ve got ░░░░░░░░ who aren t producing ░░░░░░░░ fact that a lot ░░░░░░░░ them got rewarded with ░░░░░░░░ election and the people ░░░░░░░░ were in power of ░░░░░░░░ the gridlock stayed in ░░░░░░░░ that s a consequence ░░░░░░░░ everybody staying at home ░░░░░░░░ acting cynical And the ░░░░░░░░ you withdraw in that ░░░░░░░░ from the process of ░░░░░░░░ well then you re ░░░░░░░░ to have the existing ░░░░░░░░ structures.”
