Sanders Look Director Brennan ░░░░░░░░ s broaden this out ░░░░░░░░ just talk about talk ░░░░░░░░ sensitive information if you ░░░░░░░░ You know as well ░░░░░░░░ I do that and ░░░░░░░░ said this last night ░░░░░░░░ information is the currency ░░░░░░░░ our national security space ░░░░░░░░ information can make the ░░░░░░░░ in saving someone s ░░░░░░░░ it can also make ░░░░░░░░ difference in people being ░░░░░░░░ And I it just ░░░░░░░░ to me that the ░░░░░░░░ about this specific Signal ░░░░░░░░ and then how the ░░░░░░░░ Administration is handling information ░░░░░░░░ more broadly potentially sensitive ░░░░░░░░ is not taking into ░░░░░░░░ that information can cost ░░░░░░░░ their lives There are ░░░░░░░░ I mean I saw ░░░░░░░░ photo of you recently ░░░░░░░░ re like Which picture ░░░░░░░░ this The photo that ░░░░░░░░ iconic photo that everybody ░░░░░░░░ about you re in ░░░░░░░░ Situation Room Secretary Clinton ░░░░░░░░ Vice President Biden President ░░░░░░░░ and so many other ░░░░░░░░ watching an operation go ░░░░░░░░ This photo was released ░░░░░░░░ the fact And it ░░░░░░░░ me today as I ░░░░░░░░ looking at the picture ░░░░░░░░ you all were standing ░░░░░░░░ together because you had ░░░░░░░░ in the room together ░░░░░░░░ this very particular operation ░░░░░░░░ the seriousness through which ░░░░░░░░ all carried out that ░░░░░░░░ duty that we know ░░░░░░░░ that operation that level ░░░░░░░░ seriousness just is not ░░░░░░░░ present And I m ░░░░░░░░ struck by this because ░░░░░░░░ m concerned about the ░░░░░░░░ whose lives depend on ░░░░░░░░ BRENNAN You re absolutely ░░░░░░░░ Symone Intelligence is the ░░░░░░░░ of our national security ░░░░░░░░ allows us to carry ░░░░░░░░ successful operations whether it ░░░░░░░░ military diplomatic or intelligence ░░░░░░░░ But it also is ░░░░░░░░ intelligence that keeps our ░░░░░░░░ and methods secure and ░░░░░░░░ protects lives and saves ░░░░░░░░ And if that intelligence ░░░░░░░░ compromised because of the ░░░░░░░░ or cavalier attitude of ░░░░░░░░ it puts so much ░░░░░░░░ risk it puts U ░░░░░░░░ lives at risk it ░░░░░░░░ our national security around ░░░░░░░░ globe at risk because ░░░░░░░░ intelligence is what feeds ░░░░░░░░ fuels our national security ░░░░░░░░ and it s clear ░░░░░░░░ the individuals at the ░░░░░░░░ top echelon of our ░░░░░░░░ security infrastructure were not ░░░░░░░░ what they needed to ░░░░░░░░ And again I think ░░░░░░░░ were serious questions that ░░░░░░░░ raised appropriately during the ░░░░░░░░ nomination and confirmation process ░░░░░░░░ unfortunately I think we ░░░░░░░░ now seeing the results ░░░░░░░░ this inexperience and the ░░░░░░░░ of credentials of people ░░░░░░░░ whatever credibility they might ░░░░░░░░ had I think they ░░░░░░░░ quickly destroying it particularly ░░░░░░░░ they ve been disparaging ░░░░░░░░ denigrating Jeffrey Goldberg who ░░░░░░░░ a respected journalist and ░░░░░░░░ was trying to do ░░░░░░░░ appropriate thing which is ░░░░░░░░ expose this big problem ░░░░░░░░ now they re on ░░░░░░░░ defensive and the attack ░░░░░░░░ using I think just ░░░░░░░░ very awful language in ░░░░░░░░ of trying to again ░░░░░░░░ and disparage him.”
