MENENDEZ Congressman if Democrats ░░░░░░░░ able to articulate a ░░░░░░░░ that actually wants that ░░░░░░░░ people into the fold ░░░░░░░░ wrote this in The ░░░░░░░░ York Times about the ░░░░░░░░ to rebuild the reputation ░░░░░░░░ the party You go ░░░░░░░░ rural areas you go ░░░░░░░░ red areas you hang ░░░░░░░░ with the people I ░░░░░░░░ up with and they ░░░░░░░░ straight up think a ░░░░░░░░ of Democrats don t ░░░░░░░░ them that they re ░░░░░░░░ I still hear that ░░░░░░░░ come out of so ░░░░░░░░ places when I m ░░░░░░░░ to people when I ░░░░░░░░ trying to earn their ░░░░░░░░ How do you earn ░░░░░░░░ trust CROW Well first ░░░░░░░░ all this isn t ░░░░░░░░ opinion it s just ░░░░░░░░ right And you can ░░░░░░░░ come off an election ░░░░░░░░ we did not win ░░░░░░░░ didn t retake the ░░░░░░░░ we didn t retake ░░░░░░░░ Senate we didn t ░░░░░░░░ the Senate we didn ░░░░░░░░ take the White House ░░░░░░░░ say that we re ░░░░░░░░ it in all the ░░░░░░░░ Now there s great ░░░░░░░░ doing amazing things in ░░░░░░░░ lot of places around ░░░░░░░░ country but clearly in ░░░░░░░░ areas where we need ░░░░░░░░ win which are red ░░░░░░░░ and Trump areas to ░░░░░░░░ political power and stop ░░░░░░░░ Trump and to save ░░░░░░░░ country the project of ░░░░░░░░ lifetime we need to ░░░░░░░░ these folks which means ░░░░░░░░ culture issues and issues ░░░░░░░░ identity are very important ░░░░░░░░ it means you know ░░░░░░░░ I m not an ░░░░░░░░ right I grew up ░░░░░░░░ construction I started working ░░░░░░░░ I was 15 at ░░░░░░░░ s and at McDonald ░░░░░░░░ I have worked my ░░░░░░░░ life since I was ░░░░░░░░ What I know is ░░░░░░░░ people in those areas ░░░░░░░░ people that I grew ░░░░░░░░ with they don t ░░░░░░░░ solutions They don t ░░░░░░░░ somebody to tell them ░░░░░░░░ how to live their ░░░░░░░░ or to give them ░░░░░░░░ handout They just want ░░░░░░░░ level playing field They ░░░░░░░░ want the opportunity and ░░░░░░░░ s what the Democratic ░░░░░░░░ actually is It is ░░░░░░░░ party of working people ░░░░░░░░ We are going to ░░░░░░░░ the playing field and ░░░░░░░░ re going to ensure ░░░░░░░░ so that people can ░░░░░░░░ hard and make their ░░░░░░░░ better.”
