LEVINE So health professionals ░░░░░░░░ a critical role to ░░░░░░░░ We must continue to ░░░░░░░░ their work to address ░░░░░░░░ misinformation directly with their ░░░░░░░░ Now this includes but ░░░░░░░░ goes beyond Covid 19 ░░░░░░░░ I d like to ░░░░░░░░ talk briefly about another ░░░░░░░░ of substantial misinformation that ░░░░░░░░ directly impacting health equity ░░░░░░░░ our nation and as ░░░░░░░░ health equity of sexual ░░░░░░░░ gender minorities There is ░░░░░░░░ misinformation about gender affirming ░░░░░░░░ for transgender and gender ░░░░░░░░ individuals We are in ░░░░░░░░ nation facing an onslaught ░░░░░░░░ anti GBTQI actions at ░░░░░░░░ state levels across the ░░░░░░░░ States and they are ░░░░░░░░ to the public health ░░░░░░░░ positive value of gender ░░░░░░░░ care for youth and ░░░░░░░░ is not in scientific ░░░░░░░░ medical dispute So we ░░░░░░░░ need to work together ░░░░░░░░ get our voices out ░░░░░░░░ the front line We ░░░░░░░░ to get our voices ░░░░░░░░ the public eye And ░░░░░░░░ can we know how ░░░░░░░░ our medical community can ░░░░░░░░ talking to communities whether ░░░░░░░░ s at town halls ░░░░░░░░ conversations with others and ░░░░░░░░ need to use our ░░░░░░░░ voice to collectively advocate ░░░░░░░░ tech companies to create ░░░░░░░░ healthier cleaner information environment ░░░░░░░░ a moment when public ░░░░░░░░ in our leaders and ░░░░░░░░ information is very challenged ░░░░░░░░ healthcare worker community the ░░░░░░░░ community does I believe ░░░░░░░░ a high degree of ░░░░░░░░ and we have to ░░░░░░░░ that and we have ░░░░░░░░ utilize it effectively.”
