‘Isn’t This Exciting?’: Barack and Michelle Kick Off the 2014 White House Easter Egg Roll

BARACK OBAMA Well hello ░░░░░░░░ Is everybody having fun ░░░░░░░░ Easter This is the ░░░░░░░░ event that we have ░░░░░░░░ the White House all ░░░░░░░░ long and it is ░░░░░░░░ most fun event because ░░░░░░░░ have a chance to ░░░░░░░░ families from all across ░░░░░░░░ country coming through here ░░░░░░░░ main and only job ░░░░░░░░ than officiating over the ░░░░░░░░ at some point is ░░░░░░░░ introduce alongside the Easter ░░░░░░░░ the person who makes ░░░░░░░░ all possible we love ░░░░░░░░ dearly my wife the ░░░░░░░░ Lady Michelle Obama MICHELLE ░░░░░░░░ Thank you honey Hey ░░░░░░░░ Happy Easter Egg Roll ░░░░░░░░ Isn t this exciting ░░░░░░░░ is so wonderful to ░░░░░░░░ so many of you ░░░░░░░░ today We are celebrating ░░░░░░░░ 136th Easter Egg Roll ░░░░░░░░ theme of this year ░░░░░░░░ roll is Hop Into ░░░░░░░░ Swing Into Shape Yes ░░░░░░░░ love it And it ░░░░░░░░ going to be a ░░░░░░░░ day We have beautiful ░░░░░░░░ because the Easter Egg ░░░░░░░░ is blessed And we ░░░░░░░░ going to have fun ░░░░░░░░ going on We ve ░░░░░░░░ the Egg Roll We ░░░░░░░░ got some storytelling We ░░░░░░░░ got entertainment We ve ░░░░░░░░ wonderful athletes and performers ░░░░░░░░ Cam and so many ░░░░░░░░ We ve got obstacle ░░░░░░░░ and yoga and face ░░░░░░░░ and egg hunts It ░░░░░░░░ just going to be ░░░░░░░░ As Barack said we ░░░░░░░░ this event This is ░░░░░░░░ largest event that we ░░░░░░░░ here on the south ░░░░░░░░ We re going to ░░░░░░░░ more than 30 000 ░░░░░░░░ on the lawn today ░░░░░░░░ we re just thrilled ░░░░░░░░ this theme is focusing ░░░░░░░░ one issue that is ░░░░░░░░ and dear to my ░░░░░░░░ and it s making ░░░░░░░░ that our young people ░░░░░░░░ active and healthy So ░░░░░░░░ you re here parents ░░░░░░░░ around You re going ░░░░░░░░ learn how to make ░░░░░░░░ snacks that the kids ░░░░░░░░ actually eat I m ░░░░░░░░ to be over there ░░░░░░░░ the chef s stage ░░░░░░░░ some demonstrations And I ░░░░░░░░ to make sure that ░░░░░░░░ know that healthy eating ░░░░░░░░ being active can be ░░░░░░░░ because what today is ░░░░░░░░ is having a whole ░░░░░░░░ of fun And I ░░░░░░░░ you all do that ░░░░░░░░ we want our kids ░░░░░░░░ be the healthiest and ░░░░░░░░ strongest they can be ░░░░░░░░ they can do well ░░░░░░░░ school and live up ░░░░░░░░ all of their God ░░░░░░░░ potential Isn t that ░░░░░░░░ parents That s what ░░░░░░░░ want for you all ░░░░░░░░ we want to thank ░░░░░░░░ Easter Bunny as always ░░░░░░░░ being here And I ░░░░░░░░ be remiss if I ░░░░░░░░ t thank the hundreds ░░░░░░░░ volunteers who make today ░░░░░░░░ Thank you to our ░░░░░░░░ who have been out ░░░░░░░░ setting up the south ░░░░░░░░ who are going to ░░░░░░░░ sure you guys get ░░░░░░░░ these activities and have ░░░░░░░░ great time So you ░░░░░░░░ just enjoy That s ░░░░░░░░ you have to do ░░░░░░░░ this point on is ░░░░░░░░ fun And we ll ░░░░░░░░ down there to participate ░░░░░░░░ the Egg Roll The ░░░░░░░░ is going to read ░░░░░░░░ m going to read ░░░░░░░░ little bit So we ░░░░░░░░ meet you down on ░░░░░░░░ south lawn OK All ░░░░░░░░ Have a great time ░░░░░░░░ bye.”
