Cleveland Kidnapping Victims Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight Release 'Thank You' Video (New York Daily News)
Cleveland kidnapping victims Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight have released a video thanking the people of their city and the world for support in the aftermath of their captivity.
The video shows the three women, who were allegedly held and brutally raped in the home of Ariel Castro between 2002 and May 6 of this year, jointly addressing the public for the first time since their release.
Amanda Berry, 27, had been held since 2003. She wore a shy smile and bob haircut as she sweetly spoke at the opening of the video, which was recorded July 2.
"First and foremost, I want everyone to know how happy I am to be home with my family my and friends," she says. "It's been unbelievable."
