Alaska Small Business Owner: Obamacare’s Impact ‘Enraging’, ‘Frightening’ (Washington Free Beacon)

Linda Peters, an Alaska small business owner, called the effects of Obamacare “frightening” and “enraging” in an interview with local station KIMO-AK.

Struggling under rising costs, Peter was recently forced to stop providing for the cost of her employees’ dependents. “It was really tragic, it’s enraging, in fact, as an employer who cares about our employees.”

Peters, who employees 14 people at her company ProComm, currently pays $950 per employee. Two years ago, she was paying only $600.

She says the worst part of the new laws is the uncertainty—“You can never really assess what the full impact of the law is going to be, what the cost is going to be, at any given time.”

“It’s frightening. What happens next year?”
