Joe Barton: ‘The CBO Is Not the Modern Day Equivalent of Nostradamus’

TUR: "Congressman, you know there is a good portion of the population, the majority of the population, who does like the Affordable Care Act right now. So, they have that on their side. But I want to ask you specifically about something that the CBO —" 
BARTON: "They are a minority of the population." 
TUR: "And there -- something the CBO had said. And I want your take on this. A 64-year-old —" [crosstalk]
BARTON: "Well you know, let me -- let me comment on CBO. CBO is not the --" 
TUR: "Before I even — can I ask you a question?" 
BARTON: "-- a modern day equivalent of Nostradamus. You know, they have an opinion and that’s all it is. And it may be an informed opinion. But the CBO — one of the things you can always say is whatever the CBO says they are going to be wrong."
