THRUSH: "I would just point out that Mike Pence has a fairly long track record on having to go out defending the indefensible for Donald Trump. I think this is what he signed up for. I have been talking with his staff on and can off about this. There’s a lot of anger on his staff and that came through to him. I don’t think Mike Pence is expressing his anger to Trump. He is expressing his anger to Mike Flynn. From what I've heard, Flynn wouldn't even give him an apology. Flynn was saying this could have been a mistake in my recollection. I think that’s what pushed Pence."
