Alfonso Aguilar: ‘Absolutely’ Trump Exec. Order on Immigration Is a ‘Good Idea’

GEIST: "Alfonso, good to see you this morning. Let me just start right there on sanctuary cities. Do you think this executive order is a good idea by Donald Trump?"
AGUILAR: "Yes, absolutely. I’ve always supported dealing with the issue of sanctuary cities. And we have to be clear what he means by sanctuary cities. He doesn’t mean that he wants to empower or he wants state and local police to go after undocumented immigrants or good people who have no criminal record. What he wants is cities and local police that engage and attain undocumented immigrants who have serious criminal records, to refer those to federal authorities and to I.C.E."
