Joaquin Castro: ‘We’re Going to Fight’ the GOP ‘Every Step of the Way’ on ObamaCare
‘They’ve had since 2010 to think about the replacement and they’ve come up with absolutely nothing to replace it’
RUHLE: “I want to talk about President Obama for just a moment, it's another item really on the top of the Republican agenda, their plan to repeal ObamaCare. Is there anything Democrats can do to stop them?”
CASTRO: “We’re going to fight them every step of the way.”
RUHLE: “How?”
CASTRO: “The fact is that ObamaCare is responsible for giving insurance to 20 million people, making sure that 20 million Americans could afford health care coverage. It’s also responsible for making sure that people with pre-existing conditions like heart disease or diabetes or cancer are not denied health insurance coverage because of those pre-existing conditions."
