Sean Eldridge, a Democratic candidate for a New York House seat refuses to talk to reporters about his biography, issue stances, illegal campaign contributions, or pretty much anything.

Politico’s Alex Isenstadt tried to interview Eldridge recently about his campaign and his business, but Eldridge’s campaign made it impossible for the candidate to be interviewed. Isenstadt described the wild goose chase to interview Eldridge as “sort of running into a wall.”

Isenstadt shared that another reporter told him that Eldridge can come across as “immature.” People in the upstate New York district shared similar views, with some revealing to Isenstadt that they have not seen Eldridge. This should not come as a surprise, however, as Elridge only just moved to the district a little over a year ago.
