Obama: Discrimination Should Concern ‘All Americans,’ Violence Won’t ‘Advance the Cause’

‘I think it’s important for all of us to say, “We want to get this right; We want to do something about it”‘

OBAMA: "So I want all Americans to be engaged and speak out on the things that they care about. But there is a right way of doing it and a wrong way of doing it. And the history of this country is that when we engage in violence or just disorganized and sometimes dangerous activity then we don't get good outcomes — we get people resisting and not hearing what may be an important, broader message."
