Fox News: Trump to Make Policy Speech Unveiling Child Care Plan
ROBERTS: "Now, later on today, Donald Trump's going to make a lot of news on another front, a big policy address in Aston, Pennsylvania, suburb of Philadelphia where he will unveil his plans for childcare. Here's the things that Donald Trump is going to propose today. He will propose to deduct childcare expenses for up to 4 children for people who don't have income, earn income tax credit rebates up to $1200 per child. And get this, a deduction for stay-at-home parents, people who would be eligible or individuals making less than $250000 a year or couples making less than a half of million dollars a year. He would also create dependent care savings accounts that would allow tax-deductible contributions, they would grow tax-free and the money can be used for childcare, after school education and tuition. His plans would also promote family-based and community childcare solutions and give incentives to employers to create workplace childcare. And lastly, and this is a big one, he would provide six weeks of maternity leaves for mothers not covered by their employers' plan. He would do that under the framework of the Unemployment Insurance program."
