Sarah Matthews: ‘Clearly None’ of the Lessons From Trump’s First Term Were Learned With Stephen Miller’s Appointment

‘The president must think that he‘ll make a great chief of staff’

RUSH EXCERPT:

MATTHEWS: “To answer your question about lessons learned, clearly None, because I don‘t think doubling down on the failures of the first two terms that clearly voters rejected is the way to move forward. And when you look at Stephen Miller, he is someone who yes, he‘s very loyal to the president. And so the president must think that he‘ll make a great chief of staff. But he was also the architect of one of the failed policies that sent Democrats back into the majority. When you look at immigration, the cruelty and inhumane way that they went about the mass deportations, they totally fumbled an issue that they actually were strong on, that voters wanted border security."
