Mark Penn: Democrats Were Willing To Accept ‘Anyone and Anything’ To Regain Power

PENN: “Well it is very simple the Democrat Party was out of power they were willing to accept anyone and anything that was going to help them get back into power they said it themselves. We are going to have a big tent. That meant we are going to accept all this regardless. The truth is they did not need that they did not need to accept these people they would be in much stronger position ultimately if they drew a line pretty think you are right to Republican so far were better at drawing and when they drew the line is something like the filibuster which they could have on any day and last couple of years eliminated input through their agenda but they had constitutional restraints and they had judgment about where the lines are and where the lines aren’t.”
