Dem Gov. Andy Beshear on Five Black Govs. Serving at Once: Trump Tried to Erase Parts of American History and ‘America Pushed Back’

RUSH EXCERPT:
BESHEAR: "You know, I think Donald Trump has tried to erase important parts of American history, and America pushed back. They said, we want governors that reflect who we are, that diversity is a strength and never a weakness. I think the American people stepped up and sent a really important message that we will not be pushed backwards. We will continue to try to bend that moral arc of the universe towards justice. And just to speak about Keisha Lance Bottoms for a minute, was so talented. She turns people out in a midterm election at a presidential level. That race was called hours before anybody thought it would. I was proud to work with her. She earned it. She is going to be a really good governor."
