Gov. Andy Beshear: Southern Democrats Have ‘Fundamentally Changed the Map’ With Election Wins

RUSH EXCERPT:

BESHEAR: “Absolutely. Listen, as a southern Democrat, I get it being overlooked, underfunded, and oftentimes even looked down upon. But southern Democrats have scrapped our way back to the table. Look at southern democratic governors now in Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky and now Georgia, Virginia and Texas. Look at the U.S. Senate, where previously we were just in Virginia and Georgia. And now you have North Carolina, South Carolina. Just amazing wins. But we’ve done all of this with just a fraction of the funding that you see in other places. And one of the reasons I’m so proud of the dga is we have fundamentally changed the map moving forward at a time that we absolutely had to. If you look at 28, there was going to be no margin of error for a Democrat running for president."
