Gov. Andy Beshear to New Democratic Governors: ‘Spend 80% of Your Time on Things That Matter to 100% of Your People’

RUSH EXCERPT:

BESHEAR: “Well, whether it’s our new governors or Congress, the people of the United States have given us an opportunity. Now it’s our job to govern well, to deliver results, and to make life easier instead of harder. Donald Trump has made everything he bought last year cost $4,500 more. This year. Gas is at an all time high. If you drive a diesel truck, forget about it. I mean, you’re driving something else or you’re getting a ride from folks. Our farmers are suffering, our rural hospitals are shutting down or are about to shut down. So now is the time that democratic governors come in and use every bit of authority they have to help their people. My advice is stand up for all your convictions, but spend 80% of your time on things that matter to 100% of your people. That’s their job."
