HOGAN: “Of course he does. It‘s it‘s it‘s a complete and total rebuke of President Trump and his policies. There‘s no one else, he said to vote as if I‘m on the ballot. And that‘s exactly what they did. He. I mean, who else are we going to blame? You know, he‘s the one they were voting against. Uh, look, I think our party has to you know, I‘ve been saying for a long time we have to go in a different direction. We have to have a more hopeful, positive message that appeals to a to more people. You don‘t get to govern if you can‘t get to 50 plus one, and you don‘t do that by, you know, continuing to just focus on firing up the base and you don‘t talk about the issues that the exhausted majority of Americans are concerned about and that that‘s, you know, the president‘s final closing message was about the algae in the reflecting pool and the monuments. I mean, that‘s not what people wanted to hear.”
