Dem Rep. Gottheimer: If There’s a Vote Next Week, Pete Hegseth’s Going to Lose and He’s Going to Lose a Lot of Republicans

EXCERPT:

GOTTHEIMER: "I think if there‘s a vote next week, he‘s going to lose and he‘s going to lose a lot of Republicans, not just Democrats. You heard what Jason Crow said. This is somebody who has been not only ineffective, but dangerous given the policies he‘s taken, both in the Pentagon firing generals left and right who don‘t agree with him, shutting out the press. You know, there‘s been just a lack of clear strategy from this administration on the Middle East, on Iran, and that‘s something that many of us have been asking for since the beginning. What is the strategy here? What‘s the timeline? How are you going to succeed? We‘ve not received that. We continue to not receive that. So that‘s something that all of us, not just in Congress, but I think the American people deserve. And it was clear on Tuesday night that this was one of the reasons why there was such a repudiation of President Trump."
