Trump: I View the White House as a Very Important Symbol of Our Country

TRANSCRIPT:

TRUMP: “I get criticized, oh, isn’t that terrible? I view the White House as a very important symbol of our country and we can’t have broken windows. We can’t have broken stone. I mean, they’d have a big hole in the stone, a gaping hole, this big, and instead of fixing it beautifully that you can’t even see, they’d just paint it. Who would look up and say this is the White House? It’s so inappropriate. So, I devoted very little time to it.”
