MOHYELDIN: “I agree with Stuart that this is no longer a party, it's either a cult based on a white extremist nationalist ideology. And it's all about who's going to be able to jack up the base going forward. It's not going to be the Marco Rubios who are going to try to appeal to a centrist, diverse base. It's going to be the white nationalists like J.D. Vance and others who are in the wings saying like, 'I can animate that white base in a way that nobody else has.' And we're just going to keep going down this sadly, this trajectory of extremism in the Republican Party.”
