Miles Taylor: Hakeem Jeffries Didn’t Say He Wasn’t Going to Do Investigations into Trump, He Said He Won’t Do Retribution

‘The Democrats instead are saying, ‘We’re going to follow the facts’’

EXCERPT:

TAYLOR: “There were these claims yesterday that Hakeem Jeffries was saying, we're not going to go that direction, while Robert Garcia, who's going to take over the House Oversight Committee, is telling Republicans and the Trump administration to lawyer up. The reason I say that's a fake debate is because the, you know, likely incoming speaker, Hakeem Jeffries, was not saying we're not going to investigate. He said, we're not going to do retribution, which is what Donald Trump did -- he came back into office, he selectively picked his enemies, and he went after them without evidence and tried to prosecute them. The Democrats instead are saying, we're going to follow the facts, we're going to follow where the evidence leads us, and that is the process to restore the rule of law. But make no mistake, there will be major investigation.”
