Ingraham: “Look, losing in politics, it’s always a gut punch. Losing this bad, it’s a gut punch immediately followed by an uppercut and then a roundhouse kick to the head. The math is ugly. Seats Republicans had held for years, sometimes decades, in states that have been conservative stalwarts, fell to Democrats. The results in Texas alone make you want to cry. The numbers take your breath away. As things stand tonight, Democrats will run Congress with solid majorities. Right now, the Dems will have at least 54 Senate seats, we’re still awaiting calls on Alaska and Mississippi. Yes, Mississippi. And Democrats currently hold 237 House seats with 51 races still yet to be called.”
