Maddow: ‘It Is Black Women Who Won Every Single One of Those Races in Georgia for the Democrats’

TRANSCRIPT:

MADDOW: "I said, Democrats in Georgia, yes, they won the Senate race, and yes, they won the governor’s race, but they also won -- what did I just say? -- secretary of state, attorney general, agriculture commissioner, insurance commissioner, school superintendent, labor commissioner, and public service commissioner. I just said they just won all of those. I need to also tell you specifically that it is black women who won every single one of those races in Georgia for the Democrats: governor, secretary of state, attorney general, agriculture commissioner, insurance commissioner, school superintendent, labor commissioner and public service commissioner. Hello, Georgia. You have seen black female Democratic political talent in Georgia growing over the course of this past 15 years in American politics. And this is the fruit of that tree."
