The View’s Hostin: Last Night’s Midterm Results Felt Like ‘Christmas Morning’

‘I felt like, hello, good blue morning’

TRANSCRIPT:

HOSTIN: “I stayed up until three o'clock in the morning. My husband had to, you know, go to bed at 11 o'clock and I said, 'Nah, I'm not going to bed.' Because I wanted to see history. And I saw five black governors elected for the first time in the history of this country. (Cheering and Applause) It was mind blowing to me. I saw the first Muslim senator, Abdul El-Sayed. (Cheering and Applause) I saw the first openly gay male senator, Chris Pappas, the first female Native American Governor, Deb Haaland of New Mexico, the first Hispanic governors elected in both Texas and California, and the first female governor of Ohio, despite the grotesque ads that Ramaswamy was putting out there. So I felt like it was Christmas morning. I felt like, ‘Hello, good blue morning.’”
