Trump Tells Bret Baier that He Wasn’t with Him When It Wasn’t Fashionable and Calls Fox Polls the ‘Worst’

‘When it was fashionable, he kissed my ass’

EXCERPT:

TRUMP: "Well, I had no choice. Ken Paxton was a good guy and I just wasn't a fan of Cornyn. I just wasn’t a fan. I found him to be a disloyal guy. He was not a fan of mine when -- you know, to be honest when it wasn't fashionable, he wasn’t there. I guess I could say that about a lot of people, could say that about you. When it wasn't fashionable to be with Trump, he wasn’t there. When it was fashionable, he kissed my ass. All right? But I remember the other days. And I just felt I couldn’t endorse him. And I will tell you, the MAGA base, you know, look, with MAGA base, I think the MAGA base is 100% the Republican Party. CNN had a poll that I'm at 99% approval in the Republican Party, the highest ever. That was -- I shouldn’t say this, but Abraham Lincoln was at 8%, president, Ronald Reagan was at 13%, and Trump was at like 54%. And then I read at FOX that I’m not popular. The FOX polls are terrible. You ought to get yourself a good pollster because your pollsters are the worst."
