Scott Jennings Calls Republican Candidates Who Lost ‘Dog Food that Dogs Don’t Want to Eat’

‘And that‘s what happened’

EXCERPT:

JENNINGS: "And they did spend a lot of money, to your point. But sometimes you‘re spending money packaging up dog food that dogs don‘t want to eat. And that‘s what happened to Texas."
AXELROD: "But he produced the dog food. Ken Paxton was his idea."
JENNINGS: "Well, and there‘s a few candidates out there that should be singled out. Paxton was a huge mistake. Vivek Ramaswamy. So, twice now he seems to have misunderstood the object of politics, which is to make people to like you and not be a human repellent. And that is what he has done in Ohio and I think it hurt everybody else over there. I think it hurt Jon Husted. There‘s something to be said for just trying to be basically nice and basically approachable. And that ad that they ran is going to go down as one of the dumbest strategic blunders at a time when you could ill-afford it because of the environment."
