Gov. Abbott on Texas Midterms: ‘We’ve Got to Make Sure Republicans Turn Out’

EXCERPT:

ABBOTT: "And so, we have one mission right now and that’s to make sure that Republicans across the state, especially in rural areas and small towns across the state make sure not only that they go vote, but to ensure that their values are represented at the ballot box. Listen, these state representatives, as in Talarico and my opponent, they represent Austin, Texas. Austin values are very different than rural Texas, very different than small towns like Longview or Wichita Falls or Lubbock and places like that. If Republicans across the state realize their values are at stake and turn out and vote by 7:00 tonight, we will ensure victories once again for Republicans up and down the ballot.”
