Sec. Burgum: We Have $21B of Revenue Being Disbursed Back to States, Schools, Tribes, and Individuals That Might Own Mineral Rights
EXCERPT:
BURGUM: “When the Biden administration, when they were opposed to cutting trees, doing grazing, doing mining, or developing oil and gas on public land, they were killing the revenue that belongs to the American people. We have $21 billion of revenue that's coming in that's being dispersed back to states, to cities, to counties, to school districts, to tribes, and to individuals that might own mineral rights across those lands. And so this is President Trump. When we say, 'Drill, baby, drill,' it's not just about the oil companies. It's literally, if you're in an energy producing state, your roads, your school districts, your healthcare, it helps pay for everything with both the lease payments that are distributed back and the royalties that are earned. These are record amounts.”
